The War Tapes Trailer

A new documentary which has American soldiers taping themselves as they go about their jobs in Iraq. From the trailer it looks quite good. I'm looking forward to seeing this being at one of the arts oriented theaters in Denver or through an organization that screens this kind of documentary like ArgusFest.org. Well worth a look at the producers website also.

TRAILER for The Drive

A tragic view of what New Orleans has become under the inattention by Bush and the mainstream media. This is a completely needless tragedy that is ongoing. Not only is it ongoing but under the ideologues of the Republican Party and current federal administration New Orleans and the Gulf coast is now ground zero for a "free market/privatization" zone in which the only factors that count are money and power. The poor of New Orleans and of the region are no longer counted as being worthwhile to give aid and comfort to by Bush and his minons.

This is not the face of an America that I am proud of. Rather it is the face of the ugly capitalist as personified by the Dictator Bush.
