Daily Kos (http://www.dailykos.com/) has this mention of Hart seriously considering a run for the Senate against "Switch Horse" Campbell. If Hart does decide to run then he would clear the field of Democratic challengers because he has credentials on Homeland Security that none of the other announced candidates have and the experience of already having served two terms in the Senate.
